The Pointer Sisters Hit The Road

One of the most successful soul and disco groups of the 70s and 80s, the Pointer Sisters successfully parlayed their gospel upbringing into a long-lasting career spanning over four decades and a range of genres. They found immediate success with the release of their self-titled debut album in 1973 thanks to the smash hit, career-defining single Yes We Can, which paved the way for 13 US Top 20 hits, three Grammy Awards and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. 

Performing an array of untouchable hits including ubiquitous dance floor filler I'm So Excited, the 'sisters' (original member Ruth Pointer, her daughter Issa and granddaughter Sadako) are filled with the same excitement and energy that won over audiences at the start of the outfit's career.
